Vintage 1960'S Silver Photo Frame with 5 1/4" X 7 1/4" Aperture

A super smart vintage solid silver photo frame. The front face has neat engine turned decoration edged with smooth bands and the sides are covered with smooth polished silver. The interior is covered in a shot silk effect fabric in taupe and the reverse and stand is in dark varnished wood.

 

A lovely vintage frame and of a useful medium size. This would make a thoughtful wedding present or a memento of a special day.

The silver is in super vintage condition. There is a slight stain to the bottom left corner of the silk lining which will not be noticeable with a photo inserted.

 

Hallmarks: Marked as sterling silver by the Birmingham Assay Office , 1965 with the makers mark of Sanders & Mackenzie.

 

Measurements: Height x Width: 8" x 6" and the glazed aperture will display a 7" x 5 1/4" (18.5 x 13.2 cm) image. The actual opening to the reverse measures 15 x 19.5 cm
