A delightful small frame.

The frame is glazed and has a green shot silk backing. The back is in varnished wood with the original stand and hinge, which work well.
Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1914, Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark: S & Co for Birmingham silversmiths Sydney & Co.

Condition: In very good antique condition. There is a slight dent to the silver near the outer edge of one corner, not noticeable from the front.
Measurements: Frame height: 13.4 ( not including bow detail), width: 9.5 cm Window size 12.1 x 8.2 x cm. Will take a 13.3 x 9.3 cm image (approx 3 1/2" x 5")
