Here is a novelty antique silver plated cruet. Modelled as a centrally placed dog sitting on hind legs with its body upright holding a bar. The bar extends either side to hold two mounted cruet bottles. One for pepper and the other for mustard. To the front is a gilded open salt. The mustard and salt spoons have been added for completion. This has been resilvered. c.1880 British made with a diamond kite mark stamped underneath.
Length of base: 14cm (5.5'')
Width of base: 8.5cm (3.25'')
Height is approximately: 11.5cm (4.5'')
