A magnificent antique Victorian carved oak bookcase dating from circa 1870. With a profusely carved and moulded top over two glazed doors with three internal adjustable shelves, flanked by fabulous heavily carved pilasters with hanging vines and fruit and raised on a breakfront plinth base. This is a high quality bookcase in beautifully figured golden oak with good colour, good original patina and in good condition. A useful and elegant piece that would grace any room.
