This late Victorian silverplate tea and coffee set from around 1900 comprises four pieces in a George III style, including a coffee pot, a teapot, a cream jug and a sugar basin. The set is formed from silverplated metal with a bright silver finish and incorporates dark ebonised wooden handles and turned wooden finials on the lids. Each piece features an oval form decorated with gadrooned fluting on the lower bodies and plain upper surfaces, while the coffee pot stands on a pedestal foot. The largest piece measures 25 cm high, 23 cm wide and 10 cm deep.
