An absolutely magnificent Art Deco burr walnut leather top partners desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920-30’s.
The quality is outstanding, this has an extremely impressive and interesting design and it is one of the finest examples of an Art Deco desk we have ever come across.
The top has beautifully moulded edges and and inset black leather top. It overhangs the pedestals slightly on each side and has a generous working space. The walnut grain patterns and colour tones are gorgeous throughout on every surface. There are nine drawers on the front, with beautiful sculpted handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints. The back side of the desk is also very nicely designed and has two locking cabinets with shelves.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb throughout. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
