Quality German Hanau Solid Silver Trinket Box C1900 Antique 44g

Description

A beautiful German Hanau solid silver trinket box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and the Hanau maker being Karl Kurz. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly made being embossed with a classical design. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.1cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.4cm) wide by over 1.25 inches (3.6cm) tall and weighs 44 grams. A very pretty piece.
