A rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver vinaigrette box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1857 with the maker being Nathaniel Mills. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight. It retains its sponge. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.4cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 18 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
