Description

A beautiful rare heavy Norwegian antique solid silver two handled bowl. It is hallmarked with the Norwegian 830 standard mark along with the maker being that of David Andersen, it is also marked with the date 1895. It has been superbly made being ornately embossed and is supported on four ornate feet. It is in superb condition, having no dings, splits, holes or repairs. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18.5cm) wide including the handles by 4 inches (10cm) across the rim by 3.5 inches (8.6cm) tall to the top of the handles and weighs 296 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
