Edwardian silver sovereign case in a square pillow shape nicely engraved to both sides. The front has a shield shaped vacant cartouche which could be used to personalise the case with initials. The case opens with a push button at the top an hinges at the bottom to reveal a spring loaded holder to hold a sovereign. The cover of the holder is decorated with engine turned engraving and the lid interior is gilt finished. The sovereign case comes with a loop to suspend it from a fob or chain.  A nice antique collectors item.Condition: In good antique condition, with a very small dint to one corner of the back - hardly noticeable but mentioned for complete accuracy.Hallmarked Birmingham 1908 with initials J.
