This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/4'' (3 cms) across.
 
It''s hallmarked for Birmingham 1900 with the silversmiths mark for John Edward Wilmot.
 
It''s in super condition with no inscriptions or monograms and weighs 30 grams.
 
The area inside springs as it should and any marks you can see on the silver are just reflections - the coin does not come with the case it is for show purposes only.
