Description

A rare antique solid sterling silver paint box pendant. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly designed and still has its original paints inside. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, it gapes fractionally and the inner cover is not quite perfectly flat. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.4cm) long including the loop by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 26 grams. A very high quality rare piece.
