The construction showcases traditional hand-cut dovetail joints, which not only provide robust durability but also add to the visual appeal with their precise and interlocking design.
Adding to its authenticity, the chest features original decorative metalwork that enhances its antique character. The side carrying handles, crafted from metal, are not only functional but also contribute to the overall aesthetic with their ornamental design.
The interior of the chest is just as thoughtfully designed, with an original candle box that speaks to the chest’s historical use and significance. A practical shelf adds to the functionality, allowing for organized storage. The chest stands proudly on block feet, raising it off the ground and giving it a stately presence.
