Mid-Century jewellery, spanning roughly the 1940s to 1960s, often features bold geometric shapes, highly textured precious metals, and prominent use of diamonds and gemstones arranged in cluster or floral motifs.

Jewellery from the mid-20th century commonly utilises platinum, white gold, and yellow gold, frequently combining contrasting tones to accentuate the brilliance of central gemstones.

Authenticity is typically verified by examining hallmark stamps, the presence of hand-cut stones such as old European or transitional cuts, and traditional prong or claw settings characteristic of the period.

A vintage diamond ring serves as a striking standalone statement piece that pairs effortlessly with minimalist modern attire or stacks alongside contemporary bands for a curated look.

Maintain the clarity and setting integrity by cleaning gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush, and have the prongs professionally inspected annually to ensure the stones remain secure.
