A Charles II oak coffer, the hinged top with four triple moulded sunken panels, above a frieze with good lunette carving, four front panels inside the moulded stiles and feet, the sides with double panels. Good original colour and patina, the lid lifts to reveal an interior with a candle box on the left hand side , there are two old replacement boards in the floor just below the candle box. The lid has the initials I : T carved in the front which are original. Welsh/English Circa 1670.
