Decent Sized Sterling Silver Table Box Hanau Chester 1898 Victorian 100g

Description

A beautiful good sized solid silver box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks the maker / imported being Berthold Muller along with the import marks for Chester 1898. It has been superbly made being decorated with fishing scenes around the body and a traditional scene to its lid. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cms) across by 2 inches (5.3cms) by 1.5 inches (3.6cms) tall and weighs 100 grams. A very pretty high quality piece.
