An very unusual 18th century shaped period oak antique box seat, made to rest up on, like a daybed.
In excellent condition, all pegged construction, the ends are well panelled, as it the front and this Georgian box stands on bracket feet. The top lift up up in two sections, held by original iron strap hinges. English and dates to around 1780.
