Pair of Antique Brass Table Lamps with Tole Shades

1900 - 1920
Description

An outstanding large pair of antique brass table lamps with tole shades. We believe they were made in France, and date from around the 1920-30’s.

The quality is superb, the solid brass frames are beautifully made and are very heavy. They have intricate and beautiful details throughout, the original tole shades are a lovely green colour and can be raised or lowered on the shaft.

The condition is excellent for their age, with some minor signs of normal age related wear here and there. We have re-wired them in gold three core cable, they are in good working order.

Width base – 8.5 inches , 21 cm

Width shade – 14 inches , 36 cm

Height – 29 inches , 74 cm
