Fabulous vintage Indian steamer trunk in beautiful original condition. This wonderful vintage steamer trunk is covered in its original cream canvas with wooden and brass strapping. It has leather corners and leather handles on either side. The lid opens to a clean spacious interior with original belts and buckles. There is a makers label attached to the inside also original train travel labels stuck on the side. Like all antiques there are some imperfections however these only add to the character and charm of this very functional vintage storage box. These boxes as often used at the base of beds storing extra blanket , pillows etc and perfect for that however recently they have came out of the bedroom into the main room and used as coffee tables or window seats.
