A superb beautiful top quality English antique solid sterling silver sauce / gravy boat / jug. It is hallmarked for London 1937 with the maker being William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Richard Comyns). It has been superbly designed having two lips at either end. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It is larger than most measuring approx. 6.5 inches (16.6cm) across lip to lip by 6.25 inches (16cm) wide handle to handle by 3 inches (7.6cm) tall to the top of the handle and weighs an impressive 216 grams. A beautiful high quality piece.
