A large antique cut glass scent bottle with solid silver top and collar. The bottle is excellent quality with diamond cut glass and the threaded collar is silver gilt. It has an unusual pump action dispenser which sprays the perfume from the bottle which has been tested with water and is working well.
It is clearly hallmarked on the collar for John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham, 1911 and there are further hallmarks on the tip of the dispenser and on the stem.
It is in very good condition for its age. The silver is in good condition with just a few small dinks and minor marks. There are no cracks or major damages to the glass just some minor small surface nibbles. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
