A superb pair of small silver and glass bud vases of tapering form, dating to the latter part Queen Victoria''s reign. These gorgeous examples have round, weighted silver bases, featuring fluted and foliar repoussé decoration. There are four shell feet to aid with stability. The fixed glass trumpets are beautifully cut with geometric patterns, hobnail diamonds and fan cutting to the rims. A lovely pair of vases both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.
