Unusual Backbone Sterling Silver Toast Rack 1935 Antique 74g Art Deco

Description

A superb English solid sterling silver toast rack. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1935 with the maker being Adie Brothers Ltd. It has been superbly designed, rather like a backbone, and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures over 4.5 inches (11.6cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.3cm) wide by 1.75 inches (4.8cm) tall. The division gaps measure almost 0.5 inch (1.2cm) wide and weighs 74 grams. A very good quality unusual piece.
