A William Comyns Landscape Victorian Silver Photo Frame

A desirable silver photo frame from the great name of William Comyns. This practical example is of landscape form with a velvet covered easel back and an elegant, fluted silver front. Landscape format frames are always in demand, as portrait orientation are the more commonly found. Unusually, the photograph area is accessed by releasing the small screws that hold the silver in place and lifting the panel off. An attractive and usable piece, perfect for family or group shots. Condition :- Excellent with no splits, dents or holes. The velvet back is worn and a little shabby in places, commensurate with age and use ( see photo).
