Description

A George V silver photo frame with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1918. The makers mark is rubbed but looks like initials JB. The small portrait frame is made of thick smooth silver with wrap around edges and keeper plates on the reverse to keep the easel back in place. The back is made of mahogany and it has a curious folding mechanism with swivel key so that the back can be eased up from the keeper plates. A nice little treasure from the end of the WWI era. In excellent condition.
