Chequers Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

Condition: Excellent, the piece is in very good condition and is solid and robust, it stands well with no wobbling, the leather has had some wear but is almost certainly the original and retains excellent colour and some gilding to the tooling, the handles are all original and the drawer runs well, and overall the piece has a lovely appearance with good grain to the timber and fine inlays, and has a beautiful colour.
