A superb camphor wood brass bound military trunk with heavy brass carrying handles, recess lifting handle and working lock with key. The lid with original hinges lifts to reveal a perfect interior, clean and ready to store household items. The condition of the chest is very good, the colour, grain and patina is excellent.

This 19th century trunk is extremely versatile, making a stylish coffee table, fabulous bedroom storage or extra seating.
