Classic all over Herati field design woven with organic dyes in mellow tones of yellow and green on soft madder ground flanked by generous, mid blue borders. An extremely elegant carpet, finely knotted with good shiny wool. Clean, honest condition, slight wear in places, a classic English country house look. Circa 1880.
