Description

A superb Alexander Ritchie 'Marriage Brooch'. The stunning brooch is etched and engraved incorporating the medieval letter 'M' in Celtic revival style. It’s a lovely looking item is in excellent condition. The brooch measures 5.0cm in diameter and the pin measuren 4.2cm long, the pin and the hinge on the brooch connecting the pin is secure and in excellent condition. The brooch is hallmarked for Glasgow c.1924. It is also stamped A.R. for Alexander Ritchie and IONA for Scottish Holy Isle of Iona. The total weight is 21.3 grams

Metal: Sterling Silver.

Measurements: Brooch 5.0cm diameter. Pin 4.2cm long
