Quality Victorian Antique Oak Bookcase On Cupboard

This Quality late 19th century Victorian Antique Oak Bookcase On Cupboard dates from circa, 1880 and is a lovely warm golden shade. It has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors and the interior comprises of two adjustable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above two frieze drawers with art Nouveau copper handles. Below are two cupboard doors with raised fielded panels and the interior has one shelf. This superb Victorian bookcase stands on a plain plinth and it splits into two sections for easy removal. The Oak has aged to a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Furniture wax finishing.
