Description

This is an antique Old Sheffield Silver Plate meat dome cover with its original matching meat flat. The dome and base is in remarkable original condition showing no sign of wear. The meat flat does show use with minor scratches. The cover and base have matching mounts of scrolls shells and flowers. The cover is oval with vertical ridges and acorns a large key handle that has leaves and berries. c.1830 British made. Sold in original plate.

Meat flat width: 41cm (16")
