Description

A Fabulous 17th Century Oak Mule Kist in mint original condition, of glorious colour and patina.

Retaining the original butterfly hinges, candle box with secret slide compartment fitted with secret drawers with original fabric pulls. Quite remarkably the bun feet are also original. The initials M D are carved to the top rail, the front is decorated with geometric mouldings, applied jewels and split turnings. The bottom drawer with walnut front and large original turned fruit wood knobs.
