A Fine French Burr Walnut and Kingwood Ormolu Mounted Bureau De Dame

Description

The Bombay-shaped body with panels of rich Burr Walnut edged with Kingwood and framed with finely cast ormolu floral and figural mounts below a fine pierced galleried top. The hinged lockable shaped fall front reveals a fitted interior with three serpentine drawers, letter sections and a dropped well that allows access to the lower compartment, behind the green leather tooled writing surface raised on square tapering and ormolu mounted cabriole legs.
