Antique Swedish Neoclassical Floor Lamp

Description

A fantastic antique Swedish neoclassical floor lamp, made from steel and brass. This was recently imported from Sweden, it dates from around the 1890-1910 period.

It is of superb quality, with a very bold and beautiful design. The metal has a lovely patina, we have had this re-wired and it is in good working order.

The condition is excellent for its age, with only some extremely minor wear here and there. We have paired this with a lovely grey modern shade that compliments it very well.

We have described this as Neoclassical – However, looking at the decorations on the base, it looks like typical Art Nouveau.

Width shade – 41 cm , 16 inches

Height to socket – 163 cm , 64 inches

Height to shade – 180 cm , 71 inches
