Scottish Provincial Condiment Ladle

Description

Scottish Provincial condiment ladle marked for Inverness.

Marked in the bowl with the camel mark, INV - for Inverness, makers mark Fraser Ferguson & McBean. Late 19th century circa 1896.

Baleen handle with a super twist in the centre of the stem which I believe was done to increase the strength of the long elegant handle. The end of the handle has slight curve with a silver end.

L 31.5 cm
