Antique Edwardian Silver Dish Ring

This is a wonderful example of a large solid sterling silver dish (or potato) ring.
 
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1907 with the maker''s mark of Ellis & Co (Ellis Jacob Greenberg).
 
The fabulous pierced decoration is split into three separate tableaux, Chinoiserie in style, and a further section featuring an empty cartouche. There is a slight wobble. The silver is in excellent condition. This is a heavy and tactile item.
