A beautiful campaign trunk made from camphor wood with brass bounding through out. Made for travel and transporting goods with style and elegance, in keeping with their owners. Recently these types of trunks have become popular given the history and exploration these trunks have most likely been through, each telling a unique story. This particular examples dates to the mid Victorian period c.1870. Its perfect as a storage decorative piece, great for blankets, bed sheets etc. This example is in a delightful condition with just slight general wear associated with its age.
