Antique Foiled Paste Silver Demi Parure Earrings and Brooch

Gorgeous fat foiled pastes set into solid silver with enclosed backs for extra sparkle. There are lots of lovely details here, from the leaf motif tops to the rope twist edging, ball details and tiny torpedo drops.

• Condition: Both the earrings and the brooch are in very good antique condition; the facets of the pastes are slightly abraded under magnification, as you would expect with pieces of this age, but this does not affect their brilliance.

• Fixing: The brooch fastens with a typical 19th century C clasp. The earrings have post and butterfly fixings which are likely a later addition.

• Era: Estimated late Georgian/early Victorian.

• Size: The earrings measure approximately 5.2cm total drop x 1.6cm wide. The brooch is 4.2 x 5.7cm. All the pastes are approx 1.3cm across.

• Weight: The earrings weigh 10.0g combined, the brooch 16.3g.
