A Welsh oak Coffer Bach, the top with moulded edge above three raised shaped panels above a single drawer, the plinth base with bracket feet. Fine colour and patina, the lid is original but over the years the hinges have been changed twice, now back in their original position(see photo). Useful beside a settee for a drink or lamp, you could also sit on it or tidy up children’s toys! Merionethshire/ Cardiganshire Circa 1780.
