Beautiful Period Antique Oak Coffer
This beautiful period Antique Oak Coffer dates from the mid 18th Century and is of a nice low size so could also be used as a coffee table as well as useful storage. This stunning Oak Antique Coffer has a hinged lid with pin hinges and candle storage. The front has three beautifully figured raised fielded panels and it has paneled sides. This early piece of English oak, is of pegged construction, stands on slightly raised legs and comes with genuine charm and character only seen in a true antique. It has aged to a warm Oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of oak furniture wax finishing.
