A Most Unusual Charles Horner Cased Silver Thimble

A most unusual hallmarked silver thimble in the original case and by the great Charles Horner. The thimble has applied looped wire-work and the case opens to reveal an silk and velvet lined interior. This fine collector's piece was assayed at the sought after Chester Office and is both collectable and practical.Thimble size 7. Dimensions below.
