Description

An absolutely stunning solid silver brooch in the form of a large peacock studded with innumerable colourful paste gemstones. The peacock's fanned tail has a lovely curved shape which really helps the stones glitter and twinkle.

Marked STERLING 240.

The piece is overall in very good solid vintage condition; the enamel is worn on the peacock's head and a couple of pastes are vacant/cracked if you look VERY closely but this doesn't detract at all from the impact and beauty of the piece.

Secures with a rollover C clasp.

Size: Approximately 5.5 x 5cm.

Weight: 27.6g.
