A Susannah Barker Pair of 18th Century Silver Tongs

A gorgeous pair of late 18th Century silver tongs by Susannah Barker. These beautiful tongs are shaped, with bead edging and figured shell pads. Work by this desirable female silversmith is collectible and these lovely tongs are both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no breaks or splits. There is very slight rippling to the arms, shown in photo and commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Sterling Lion and Maker's mark only are present.
