Description

This superb antique paste brooch has a beautifully elegant design, the flow of the leaves is very organic and naturalistic and each leaf has lovely serrated edge detail.

The large flowerhead is a separately made section which can revolve independently of the rest of the pin.

The brooch is solid silver, set with bright white sparkling old-cut pastes (faux diamonds).

The piece is in excellent antique condition; the back appears to have had a fine gold wash originally which is now barely visible.

Secures with a C clasp and a sturdy pin.

Size: Approximately 6.5 x 3cm.

Weight: 17.2g.
