The quality is excellent this has a gorgeous and very useful design.
There is fine and intricate inlay of various woods on the front, back and corners. The front and back are finished identically, so it can be used as a free standing item. The upholstered seat lifts up to reveal a useful storage compartment.
We have had this re-polished and the seat has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor wear beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
