A very smart looking large size antique silver jewellery or trinket box in an oval form with a hinged lid and straight line engine turned pattern and empty circular cartouche. Gilt under the lid and lined with dark blue velvet. Standing on four cast scroll feet. In very good condition.

Date: 1919.

Maker: E.S. Barnsley & Co, Birmingham, England.
