Description

A very elegant and discreet silver and tortoiseshell mounted scent bottle with hallmarks for Birmingham 1926 and maker’s mark for Adie Bros. The lid is also hall marked. The hinged silver top is inset with a plain translucent panel of tortoiseshell. The bulbous glass body is engraved with a rise and fall design of ribbon swags and rose garlands, above a vertical slice cut band which follows the rise and fall (photo against dark background attempts to show this. The base is star cut. A pretty item of good quality in excellent condition.
