This is a super antique Edwardian sterling silver string box/holder measuring 3 1/4" (8 cms) across x 4" (10 cms) tall to the top and weighing 156 grams / 5 troy oz.

It's in excellent condition with no damage and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with the silversmiths mark for Edward Souter Barnsley.

It has a filled base with baize underneath for protection.
