A Rare Early Victorian Silver Vesta/cheroot Cutter

A most unusual mid Victorian vesta and cheroot cutter combo. This appealing example has a lightly engine turned body, with a lower compartment for matches and an upper compartment for cutting the cheroot tip. To the front is a round cartouche, with a feint monogram engraved. An interesting early example and a good collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good, with no serious dents or splits. There are a few bumps and dimples to the body, commensurate with age and use.
