The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Given it's age, the condition is remarkable. There are light abrasions on the silver lid but the glass is completely undamaged.
There is also a further mark inside the lid - 1078S. The applied finger handle and swing handle are firmly attached and carry conforming hallmarks. The glass body has curved sides, angular corners and a classic star burst base.
